The B&B is a five minute drive from the heart of Whistler Village, the gondolas, Whistler Golf Course and the Valley Trail. The closest major airport is Vancouver International, about two hours away. Several bus and shuttle services run from Vancouver Airport to Whistler Village on a daily basis, with more frequent service in the winter season. Passengers arriving into Vancouver by rail may find shuttle service at the train station, or may opt to take the Whistler Mountaineer (reservations required), an upscale train service that services the Village. Passengers wishing to rent cars will find them at airport terminals or at various downtown Vancouver locations. The Sea to Sky Highway is the most direct route to the village. It can be an interesting ride in snowy conditions, as it makes many twists and turns through the mountains. Whistler Village is full of dining, shopping and recreational venues year round. Four top notch golf courses are available. Winter visitors will find downhill skiing at both Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains, as well as excellent cross country trails. Mountain biking, hiking and horseback riding are also popular.
