The B&B is a five minute drive from the heart of Whistler Village, the gondolas, Alta Lake, Whistler Golf Course and the Valley Trail. The closest airport is Vancouver International, about two hours away. Several bus and shuttle services run from Vancouver Airport to Whistler Village on a daily basis, with more frequent service in the busy ski season. Passengers arriving into Vancouver by rail may find shuttle service at the train station, or may opt to take the Whistler Mountaineer, an upscale train service that takes passengers to the Village. Passengers wishing to rent cars will find them at airport terminals or at various locations in the city. The main road, known as the Sea to Sky Highway is the most direct route to the village. It can be an interesting ride in snowy conditions, as it makes many twists and turns as it navigates the mountainous terrain. Whistler Village is full of dining, shopping and recreational venues throughout the year. Top notch golf courses are available for play, and winter visitors will find downhill skiing at both Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains.
