Whistler B&B

This B&B is located five minutes from the centre of Whistler Village, just off the Sea to Sky highway. This highway is the main route from the city of Vancouver, roughly an hour and a half drive south of Whistler ski resort. Vancouver International Airport is the closest major airport and is the usual landing point for air travelers. Several transportation options are offered from this location: car rentals, shuttles to Whistler, seasonal designated ski buses, taxi’s and limo services. Please note: Guests not accustomed to driving in mountainous, snowy conditions may perhaps want to forgo the car rental in winter. Another luxurious and scenic way to get to Whistler is the Whistler Mountaineer Train from Vancouver. This is a fairly new service, reminiscent of the popular Rocky Mountaineer that offers tours from Vancouver to Banff and Jasper. Whistler Village itself is full of restaurants, pubs, shops, mini malls and sport shops. First class golf courses are available in summer and Blackcomb and Whistler Mountain are world class ski venues, set to host the winter Olympics of 2010.
