"Accommodation 5 stars - Breakfast No stars"

The accommodation was excellent but the male manager at breakfast was brusque and unwelcoming. Food was not particularly appetizing.

We would use EasyRez again and recommend to others.

"great location"

We were within easy walking distance to the Harbour, restaurants and shopping. Parking was extra, but also easy access. The staff was kind and helpful.

We happened to be in Victoria during a weekend when two major events were in town, so it was very difficult to get a room. The EasyRez agent was able to quickly search through availability.

"Great Location, Nice Room"

The hotel isn't fancy, but not seedy either. The room was nicely furnished, but the jets in the jacuzzi tub were not operable. The wireless internet connectivity is limited as well - neither Windows 2000 or Vista would connect, and the front desk wasn't any help at all. The breakfast was okay, just not up to Jersey standards. The location on Government Street is great, everything in downtown Victoria is within easy walking distance. Overall, a very good value and a pleasant stay. EasyRez was very polite and helpful.

I was so impressed with the room even though it was tight, I loved the older charm of the wood, pocket door for the bathroom and the ambiance of the tall windows. The breakfast was great, especially as it was complimentary (very pleasant dinning room with comfortable chairs for sitting back to read the paper). The management was extremely helpful. We had bikes that they locked up in a conference room to which we had free access. Of course the location is perfect - walk out the door and you are in walking distance of everything you could want!

"Room Features"

The bedroom was a strange configuration and the interior decoration of the bedroom and bath badly need to be updated. I would recommend this hotel on the basis of its location, but only if the room rate was considerably lower than at other hotels in the area.
