Ideally located on the North Shore, the inn is a fifteen minute drive to the centre of Vancouver and within walking distance of the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Regional Park. The Capilano River flows through the park, and there are 26 kilometres of hiking trails. The gondola that takes visitors to Grouse Mountain is a five minute drive. In winter this is a favourite ski destination, but the mountains superb views of Vancouver and the lower Coast of British Columbia can be enjoyed year round. Ferries to Vancouver Island and the beginning of the Sea-To-Sky Highway to the Whistler Resort are only twenty minutes west, and the Vancouver International Airport is about a thirty minute drive.
