Elegant Kitsilano Bed & Breakfast

"March stay"

Everything was excellent except the Vancouver weather. We were quite cold in the house and had to keep the heater on in the room for the most part. We then had to put on extra clothing to eat breakfast (it was great) or enjoy the living room.

"13th B&B"

This was a rare stay at a B&B. We did not have breakfast there because we met a friend for breakfast instead. We chose this B&B because of its proximity to a friend's home. We would stay there again and would recommend it to someone looking to stay in the area.

"Impersonal"

Since the 2 women who run this place do not live here it does not have the personal touch of the usual B&B. You only saw them in the morning at breakfast. If you had any problems you needed to phone them. Also the house was on the cool to cold side and the gas fireplace in our room had the pilot light shut off so you could not use it to warm the room.

The amenities were very nice and the breakfasts were good. If you do not care about meeting your hosts it is a good B&B. The location is great for us but if you do not know your way around Vancouver it is not a good location as no one is available to help you with the transit system or other information such as restaurants and tourist sites.

"Wonderful stay!"

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Kitsilano! The Bed and Breakfast was charming, and just down the street from a wonderful restaurant, bakery, and a natural foods grocery! I had to leave very early Sunday morning to catch my plane in Bellingham, but our hostess had a pot of coffee ready for me to turn on and a continental breakfast. I hope to stay here again in the future!

We were on our honeymoon and this was the first bed and breakfast that either one of us has stayed at. Our hostess made sure everything went well and tried not to have the same food for us everyday. We ate more food there in the morning then we ever do at home. We would stay there again for sure.

"Great location"

We loved the location; within walking distance from many restaurants so we could enjoy a leisurely meal at the end of a tourist day. The house is quiet, breakfasts healthy and delicious.

"Great Neighborhood"

This is a lovely house in a wonderful Kitsilano neighborhood. It put us within walking distance of tons of restaurants and stores, plus great transit service to UBC and downtown. The house itself was very nice...more like a small inn than a private home.

We thought that the house was beautiful… good location, easy to get to public transport, food very good, owners very pleasant. Good opportunity for meeting fellow travelers. Very clean and comfortable.
