Downtown Heritage Bed And Breakfast

"Undiscovered (?) gem"

We booked this B & B sight unseen (except for pictures) and without anyone's recommendation, but found it to be one of the best places we've stayed in recent years. There are several rooms in the main house, but we stayed in the 'cottage' in the rear which was very quiet and had it's own patio [although we weren't really able to take advantage of it since it was raining most of the time during our visit].
The staff is very friendly and most helpful with restaurant recommendations, local travel suggestions and the like. The full (no 'continental' here) breakfasts are outstanding!!!
The location is just a couple of blocks off Robson St. and within walking distance of many good shops and restaurants.
The only problem with writing a review this good is that others will undoubtedly pick up on this wonderful place and we may not be able to find a room when we wish to return!!

"A pleasant surprise"

A few years previously, I had stayed at a charming B&B in Vancouver, and thought I was booking into the same place. I realized I was mistaken when I arrived, but it turned out to be such a fortuitous mistake. This B&B was spacious and welcoming, and the hosts were charming. There was another surprise at breakfast... The food was far superior to what one usually gets at a B&B. Hearty dishes with fresh, local ingredients. Turned a good trip into a memorable trip.

Our stay began with a warm welcome and details about the surrounding area. The proprietors were very helpful and provided a wonderful breakfast each morning. The location was well within walking distance of downtown Vancouver and also on the bus route. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone.
