“This historic B&B is located in Roncesvalles Village, one of Toronto's most historic and culturally diverse communities. The castle like architecture is an example of the designs of the late 19th century favoured by the socially elite. The home was originally completed in 1891 and originally designed for a prominent local physician. In 1984 renovations began on this 5000 square foot creation. The modern niceties have been added, but the period charm of this hundred year plus structure still works its magic on the guests of today.”
“Bold colours, high ceilings and polished hardwood floors make for a bright and sunny dining area. Large floor to ceiling windows, with their frosted glass accents and hardwood frames, let in plenty of natural light. Lacy café curtains add a nostalgic touch.”
“Antique furnishings, period light fixtures and strategically placed potted plants make for a very Victorian like atmosphere in this guest lounge. The turret style architecture and high ceilings, combined with the bold colours make for a memorable space.”
“Each of the 9 guest rooms has a unique décor and colour scheme, offering a warm and inviting ambiance.”
