"Good choice"

This is a great choice if you like a large room but you are not necessarily looking for a view. Breakfast was out of this world! It wasn't expensive either. It’s true that it is in the lower part of the city but it’s still close to the action. I recommend this place!

The beds were very comfortable; the bathroom very clean and well equipped, the water pressure in the shower was great. Our room was not very well lighted-could use another lamp or brighter bulbs. The hotel location was excellent and the concierge very helpful. Also the restaurant adjoining the hotel was good.

"Nice hotel but the restaurant only so-so."

We selected the hotel based on location, good reviews, and excellent restaurant reviews. The hotel was fine (though it had rather dim room lighting). Sadly the restaurant has apparently changed hands. The wine was overpriced and of mediocre quality and the drinks were thimble sized portions. The food was quite good (it's Quebec, after all) but not outstanding. Although the restaurant had only a few tables occupied, the three steaks ordered medium rare arrived medium...either the kitchen miscalculated or the steaks sat under a warming light for too long.

"Quick visit"

While we only stayed at this hotel for a brief visit we found it to be well situated and the staff to be extremely helpful and courteous.
We enjoyed our stay here very much.

Reservation told me I could have an early check-in, but the hotel did not honor this. This was an issue because I had traveled all night. The desk clerk was very helpful in giving me a map and directions on getting around.

Everything was pretty much as expected. We stayed for 7 nights and their wasn't sufficient closet space to store our clothes so we lived out of our suitcases.
