Village 4 Bedroom Glacier View Chalet 7L

Mount Washington is nearly twenty five kilometres west of the Comox Valley, which is roughly one hundred kilometres north of Nanaimo. The four bedroom chalet is a three hour drive north from the capital city of Victoria via the Island Highway and Strathcona Parkway. Guests arriving into Victoria’s International Airport also have about a three hour drive, or the option to take a commuter plane to the regional Courtenay and Campbell River airports. From either of these airports Mount Washington is roughly thirty minutes away. B.C. Ferries offers service into the Nanaimo Terminal from either Horseshoe Bay or Tsawwassen on mainland British Columbia. This is a much closer option than using the Swartz Bay Terminal (located near the Victoria International Airport). Once daily train service runs from just outside of downtown Victoria to Courtenay on “The Malahat.” The train departs Victoria in the early morning, and returns from Courtenay in the early afternoon. The route is one of the most scenic on the island and takes about four and a half hours. Public transport is available at airports, ferry and bus locales.
