Blue Haven True Ski In, Ski Out 6 Bedroom Chalet

The resort at Mount Washington is just over twenty five kilometres west of the Comox Valley, which is one hundred kilometres north of Nanaimo. The six bedroom chalet is a three hour drive north from Victoria via the Island Highway and Strathcona Parkway. Visitors arriving into Victoria’s International Airport will also have about a three hour drive. It is possible to connect to a commuter flight to the regional Courtenay and Campbell River airports. From either of these airports Mt. Washington is under thirty minutes away. B.C. Ferries offers scheduled service into Nanaimo from either Horseshoe Bay or Tsawassen terminals on mainland British Columbia. This is closer option than using Schwartz Bay (north of the Victoria International Airport). A morning train service travels from downtown Victoria to Courtenay on “The Malahat” with the return leaving Courtenay in the afternoon. The rail line route is one of the most scenic on the island and takes roughly four and a half hours. Various forms of public transport are available from the airports, ferry and bus locations.
