Featuring the slate blue siding and white gingerbread trim reminiscent of the Victorian era, this vintage B&B inn offers period style furnishings, modern comforts and incredible views of beautiful Queensland Beach. Originally built by a sea captain in the 1880’s, the property has been carefully restored and retains its historic charm. The B&B inn is only thirty minutes from Peggy’s Cove, Lunenburg and Halifax.
Each of the eight rooms has been creatively designed in Victorian fashion with its own colour scheme, antique furnishings and is suitably named. This is the “Surfside Retreat” room, located on the ground floor level and having a private entrance and deck. It features a queen bed, double whirlpool tub and polished hardwood floor and is quite the romantic space.
The “Buttercup Room” features soft yellows and has its own warm and fuzzy character. Exuding a welcoming warmth, the room offers a queen bed, single whirlpool tub and lots of Victorian charm.
No less than ten natural beaches are within easy reach of the property. Some, such as this, are rustically pocketed with lots of nooks and crannies to explore while beachcombing. Others like Queensland Beach which fronts the inn, offer stretches of sand to luxuriate on.
