This resort hotel is located in Banff, Alberta which is roughly a two hour drive from the Calgary International Airport. This is the closest international airport to the area and direct or one stop service is available from most major North American, Asian and European centers. Scheduled and charter bus services are available from the airport, as are limos and car rental outlets. If choosing to rent a car, especially in winter, a four wheel drive vehicle is advised. Canadian winter driving can be a challenge, especially in the mountains. If you are not comfortable driving in snow, it might be best to leave the driving to others. Winter visitors will find world class skiing at no less than five ski venues and summer guests will enjoy golfing at some of the most scenic and challenging courses on the planet. Unusual golf hazards to look out for are wandering elk, and the occasional bear or cougar.
