This ninety-five room resort is located in Banff National Park, about a five minute drive from Banff’s centre. It is about a two hour drive from the Calgary International Airport. This is the closest international airport to the area and direct or one stop service is available from many major North American, Asian and European centers. Scheduled and charter bus services are available from the airport which offer service into Banff. It is a wilderness area so a car, preferably a four wheel drive vehicle in the winter season, is the most convenient way of transport. Canadian winter driving can be a challenge, especially in the mountains, so take it slow and easy, and enjoy the scenery. Winter visitors will find world class skiing at no less than five ski resorts and summer guests will enjoy golfing at some of the most scenic and challenging courses in North America. Unusual golf hazards to be on the lookout for are wandering elk, and the occasional bear or cougar.
