This B&B one is located in the centre of Banff close to the shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes that line Banff Avenue. Bus and train stations are close by. Banff is in the province of Alberta, a two hour drive from the Calgary International Airport. This is the closest international airport with direct or one stop service available from several major North American, Asian and European centres. Scheduled and charter bus services are available from the airport, as are car rentals outfits. If choosing a car rental, especially in winter, a four wheel drive vehicle is a must. Canadian winter driving can be a challenge, especially in the mountains, so take it slow and enjoy the scenery. Winter visitors will find premium skiing at no less than five world class ski venues and summer guests will enjoy golfing at some of the most incredibly scenic and challenging courses in North America. Unusual yet distinctive golf hazards to look out for are grazing elk, and the occasional curious bear or cougar.
