This B&B is located in the centre of Banff, just under two blocks from eclectic Banff Avenue with its many shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Bus and the intercity train stations are close by. Banff is in the province of Alberta, two hours west of Calgary International Airport. Calgary is the closest international airport with direct or one stop service available from several major North American, Asian and European cities. Scheduled and charter bus services are available from the airport terminal, as are car rentals. If choosing to rent a car, particularly in winter, a four wheel drive vehicle is advised. Canadian Rocky Mountain winter driving can be a challenge; so take it slow and enjoy the scenery. Winter visitors will find skiing at no less than five world class ski resorts and summer guests will enjoy teeing up at some of the most incredibly scenic and challenging courses in North America. Unusual golf hazards to look out for are grazing elk, and the occasional curious bear or cougar.
