Canmore Alpine Chalet B&B

This B&B is located in Deadman’s Flats, a part of the Canmore region just outside of Banff National Park. It is eight minutes from the town of Canmore, and a five minute drive south east of Banff. Shopping and dining services may be found in the town of Banff and in the local Canmore area. Canmore is in the province of Alberta, less than two hours west of the Calgary International Airport. Calgary is the closest major airport with direct or one stop service available from several major North American, Asian and European cities. Scheduled and charter bus services are available from the airport terminal, as are car rental vendors. If electing to rent a car, particularly in winter, a four wheel drive vehicle is strongly advised. Canadian Rocky Mountain winter driving can be challenging; so take it slow and just enjoy the scenery. Winter visitors will find great skiing at no less than five world class ski resorts and summer guests will enjoy teeing up at some of the most incredibly scenic and challenging golf courses in North America. Unusual golf hazards to look out for are grazing elk and the occasional curious bear or cougar.
