This B&B two bedroom apartment suite is located in the centre of Banff close to the famed Banff Springs Hotel, local museums and hiking trails that originate within the town core. Bus and train stations are nearby. Banff is in the province of Alberta which is a two hour drive from the Calgary International Airport. This is the closest international airport and direct or one stop service is available from several major North American, Asian and European centers. Scheduled and charter bus services are available from the airport, as are limos and car rentals outfits. If choosing a car rental, especially in winter, a four wheel drive vehicle is strongly advised. Canadian winter driving can be a challenge, especially in the mountains, so take it easy and enjoy the scenery. Winter visitors will find premium skiing at no less than five ski venues and summer guests will enjoy golfing at some of the most incredibly scenic and challenging courses in North America. Unusual yet distinctive golf hazards to look out for are wandering elk, and the occasional curious bear or cougar.
